Happenings on Earth

The events I find interesting

Working on this site. 18-6-12018 HE

I am writing this from the comfort, albeit warm, of my first real Seattle apartment. I will admit, I have been putting off doing this for sometime.

If you are reading this near the original publishing date, then I bet there isn't much to see here. As with anything in life, you have to start somewhere. So here that line is. My slash. This spindle of web will serve as a home to my work and my interests. In documenting these events and projects, I'm hoping to reflect upon those experiences and learn from my mistakes.

Site Open Days VS Motivation to Work on Site

Maybe my work will include figuring out how much time I spent not working on this?

The name aslash is something I recently devised. It's an oversimplification, but a lot more clever than my previous attempts at a handle for my works. Those same works now find a home within it's name and structure. The name gives a computer-directory styling to my work and will help me manage new projects, showoff my old projects, and even find new work if all goes well. My greatest hope for this endeavour is to find new inspirations and to grow as a person.

Being a recent graduate, and (always) working engineer in Seattle, I should have "plenty" of time to devote to this, so I hope to be keeping up on these pages with decent frequency. This site is something I'm excited about and I hope to be writing something new soon. Until then, enjoy a moment of zen, with this picture I took in Joshua Tree.
